The Recording Studio

Our facility is located in the historic Hilliard Mills complex in Manchester, CT. Starting with an empty 110-year old industrial space, we hand built a recording studio complete with 13-inch thick double walls, 300-lb steel reinforced acoustic doors, a 24 square foot control room window, restored birdseye maple floors, exposed timber beams and a custom console.

Where rows of workers tending giant looms once turned out woolen blankets for American soldiers in WWI, and where Pratt & Whitney machinists produced aircraft components for the US military effort in WWII, today we feature Avid ProTools HD to ensure creative workflow, great sound and compatibility with pro audio facilities around the world.

We have a great collection of microphones, preamps, signal processors, and software to capture your sound as cleanly and truly as possible. We feature products by AKG, Sennheiser, Avid, Telefunken, Universal Audio, SPL, JBL, Yamaha, Panasonic Ramsa, Lexicon, Focusrite, and many more.

We have many instruments on hand including acoustic, electric, and bass guitars (featuring Martins and Fenders), guitar and bass amps, a Yamaha console piano, a fully-loaded arranging system with synths, beats, samples and sounds, and a full 7-piece drum kit with an assortment of cymbals.

Additional instruments are also available for hire including vintage drumsets, other pianos, rare guitars and boutique guitar amplifiers.
